Artwork
Our team of designers, work from an approved design or an existing printed sample to create your press ready art-work. If you have art-work already, but are unsure whether it is suitable for printing, then send the work files to us and we can check them for you at no extra cost. On the majority of projects we work to a standard cost*. All we require from you are logos, images and text in a digital format suitable for forwarding by e-mail to info@komprint.co.uk.
We provide you with a written quotation prior to commencing any work, and all artwork is forwarded to you to proof prior to going to press, so you retain full control over the final layout and costs. After completion of artwork we email a low resolution PDF straight to your e-mail address for approval, or alternatively we can mail you hard copy proofs, for a nominal fee, if required.
For large or non-standard projects we will always provide an no-obligation estimate tailored to your specific requirements before commencement of any work.

All PDF documents should:
have all fonts and images embedded
have registration/trim marks included
have 3mm bleed included
be supplied as single page documents
be saved as CYMK files. RGB files are not acceptable for printing purposes

These files formats are not acceptable for supplying as press-ready art-work.
File sizes must be kept to a maximum of 9MB, unless compressing into a ZIP file.
Printing

Please note that for print ready art-work we only accept CMYK format PDF documents, with a resolution of at least 1200dpi resolution plus 3mm bleed and registration marks. All files should be saved in single page format wherever possible.

Image Resolution
Best Quality - 300dpi
Low Quality - below 300dpi
For all postscript or bitmap files (PSD, PICT, PNG, PS, TARGA, EMF, WMF) always select a minimum of 300dpi resolution. We will check all files for compatability and resolution.
For JPG, please save your files at the highest quality settings (10-12)
For Quark Xpress (Mac OX or PC) always collect for output, not forgetting fonts
For Vector files (AI, SVG, SVGZ) convert all fonts to keylines before uploading
